Evalaution - Video Profile

Evaluation – Video Profile

This is an evaluation for my video profile that I did a couple of weeks back. In this evaluation I will be telling you about what happened within the video and what went well, also what didn’t go so well.

I started recording my video profile inside the college and started to talk about myself within the criteria stated. My grades, the course that I do, my hobbies, what I do in my spare time, and anything else I may have missed out was said in my video profile. Also in my video profile I wanted to add something different from everybody else’s video profile, so I put in a video about me rapping to show my talent as a whole to everybody.

But beforehand I wanted to think things through so what I did was plan my every step. When I was rapping I wanted to do it in a dark place to show how everything all comes into play. And everything turned out just great. I also tried to do a lot of creative shots throughout the whole video profile, but when I went through my work properly I saw at some points they weren’t really needed.

I wanted to make my video profile seem as if it’s a common profile than switch it up towards the end, cause I think outside the box all the time. When I finished my video profile I was a bit behind with my other work so I had to put my video profile up quickly and make sure I finished everything to do with my video profile. My video profile came out alright, but there were certain bits in my profile that came out a bit rubbish but the standard of work I produced overtook that. And I was very happy with the work I produced at the end.

In my video profile just for a second (Media Offline) appeared in it. I was a bit shocked but I had to pass that as my time was up and everything was finished. After everything I uploaded it to my blog and got a few comments on my blog, which were all positive, and I’m happy about everything that people said. I had to finish up my other work at the end but my video profile was a success, and I was happy, my video profile was done and completed.

Advertising Workbook - Task 1

Explain what TV advertising is?

TV advertising is TV programming which is paid by an organisation that will convey a message , typically to market (sell) a product. In the USA there are about 3,000 adverts that people see in a day. In adverts, products that are usually being marketed are (Cars, food, films, etc)

View three contemporary TV adverts and lists three characteristics of them:

- Frosties advert (Marketing)
- Mc Donald's advert (Marketing)
- JD Sports (Marketing)

The estimated average American consume everyday is about 3,000 adverts. Advertising may only sometimes work depending on the product or what they're trying to sell can relate to them. (Tony the tiger). The places where adverts are seen are on the bus, or the TV. It's successful because people can relate to the product more. As people can't make connections just with the product. To stop people from turning over people spend huge amount of time on pyrotechnics to get us interested.
